A Culinary Voyage Across
The Arabian Sea.
Centuries before modern fine dining, wooden dhows rode the monsoon winds between Malabar’s pepper coast and the spice ports of Yemen, Oman, and Arabia. The Malabar Chef was born to preserve that unbroken culinary bond.
How We Cook
Natural Charcoal & Smoke
We reject electric and gas grills for our signature Alfahm and Mandi meats. Only natural coconut shell and mangrove charcoal touch our hearths.
Jeerakasala Kaima Rice
Our Thalassery biriyani uses exclusively aged Wayanad short-grain Kaima rice, simmered in pure desi ghee so every grain retains an aromatic chew.
Stone-Pounded Masalas
No store-bought spice pastes. Our garams, shallot marinades, and chili rubs are freshly ground daily on traditional granite stones.
Communal Hospitality
Dining in Malabar and Arabia is an act of togetherness. We serve our dishes on shared brass urulis and platters designed for family feasts.
Halal Certified
All poultry, lamb, and beef cuts adhere strictly to traditional halal dietary practices.
Fresh Coastal Catch
King Fish, Karimeen, and Tiger Prawns sourced directly from regional harbors each morning.
Artificial Additives
No synthetic colorings or MSG. Every rich golden hue comes from natural turmeric and saffron.
"Come for the spice coast aromas. Stay for the warmth of the hearth."
